Dr. Ritin Koria is a Project Specialist at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where he plays a key role in coordinating, developing, and implementing projects focused on technology, innovation, and digital transformation for inclusive and sustainable industrial development. With over 25 years of experience in the field, he has a proven track record of delivering high-impact projects and shaping innovation policies in Southeast Asia and Africa. His expertise lies in collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including local governments, knowledge-based institutions, multilateral organizations, international cooperation bodies, and MSMEs, to drive sustainable development outcomes. In addition to this role, Dr. Koria serves on the Expert Advisory Board of Startup Wise Guys, mentoring startups by offering guidance, sharing insights, and providing strategic advice to foster growth and success. Prior to UNIDO, he worked as Biotech and Research Consultant for the British Council and a Researcher for Novartis.

His research has been published in several academic papers, and he has presented at international conferences, contributing to the advancement of evidence-based policymaking in the field of innovation and development. Passionate about applying his skills to enhance the competitiveness of developing countries, Dr. Koria is dedicated to fostering sustainable progress through technology and innovation.

Dr. Koria holds a Ph.D. in Innovation Policy from Technische Universität Wien, where he explored the determinants and dynamics of national systems of innovation, and a Master’s in Science and Technology Policy Management from the University of Manchester.

Dr. Calvin Kam is an internationally recognized thought leader and industry ambassador for the built environment. As the Founder and CEO of Strategic Business Innovation (bimSCORE), he leads a global team of educators, visionaries and practitioners in helping companies overcome the challenges in integration of new technologies into their existing systems. Additionally, Dr. Kam serves as the Director of Industry Programs and an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University’s Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE), where he advises governments and private sector clients on strategic innovation in areas such as Management Scorecards, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Sustainable Development. Previously, he co-founded and served as Senior Program Expert of the National 3D-4D-BIM Program with GSA Public Buildings Service, overseeing its National BIM Program and fostering collaboration with international public owners. His efforts helped formalize international partnerships with Finland, Norway, and Denmark.

Dr. Kam is a recipient of various AIA, ASCE, SOM, Stanford University Fellowships as well as Engineering News Record’s “20 under 40” award. He is a licensed architect in the State of California, a Professional Engineer in the District of Columbia, and a LEED Accredited Professional. A Chapter President of buildingSMART USA and a former national chair of AIA’s Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) Knowledge Community, he has delivered keynote and plenary speeches in over 20 countries, published extensively, including book chapters, journal articles, and conference papers.

Dr. Kam holds dual bachelor degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master’s, Engineer Degree, and Ph.D. (with fellowships) from Stanford University.

Matthew Carli is a seasoned global construction tech executive, known for founding and spearheading innovative initiatives that range from building dedicated innovation teams to crafting comprehensive operational strategies. With a unique blend of experience spanning both startups and corporate environments, Matthew has worked and lived across the globe, leveraging an MBA in international business and a strong foundation in strategy and business development. His holistic, people-centered approach drives the creation and growth of new ventures.
Currently, Matthew serves as Director Business Development 3D Printing, where he is leading efforts to create a fully integrated ecosystem for construction 3D printing, from design to permitting to on-site printing, with the ultimate goal of making construction 3D printing as simple as paper printing. Prior to this, he worked with Putzmeister, where he developed an integrated ecosystem for the Karlos 3D construction printer. At ICON Technology, he led materials strategy playing a key role in fundraising and vertical integration efforts for Lavacrete, their proprietary printable material.

Deeply passionate about driving positive change, Matthew advises emerging ConTech startups and is an active voice in industry discussions through presentations and writing on the challenges facing construction technology. His ability to translate complex technological advancements into scalable, actionable strategies, positions him as a key player in the ongoing transformation of the construction industry.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Honors College at Florida International University and an MBA in International Business from St. John’s University in Rome.

Lynn Simon is a recognized expert in global sustainability and ESG with a career spanning nearly three decades of driving behavioral change, shifting mindsets, and collaborating to achieve climate and equity goals across the tech, real estate, and AEC sectors. Currently, she serves as Principal and West Sustainability Services Leader at Arup. She is also the Founder and Advisor at Regenerative Coaching and Consulting, where she coaches and advises a variety of clients, from senior executives to mid-level managers and emerging leaders, on sustainability and ESG, leadership and team development, change management, executive presence, cultural shifts, and networking.

Previously, Lynn was Head of Sustainability within Real Estate and Workplace Services at Google, where she successfully positioned the company to meet its 2030 public commitments by leading the real estate team’s first carbon strategic planning process for Scopes 1, 2, and 3 across the portfolio. She also co-created and facilitated the Regen Lab@Google, a community of 100 industry leaders, disruptors, and trailblazers.

Lynn has received numerous accolades, including the USGBC’s President’s Leadership Award and SHERO leadership award as well as the Women in Sustainability Leadership Award from gb&d magazine. A certified professional coach, she excels in building and retaining client relationships, engaging stakeholders at the Board level, driving cross-functional programs in matrix organizations, and leading multi-disciplinary global teams focused on carbon, waste, water, ecology, health, and DEI.

Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture from University of Washington.

Holley Chant is a Chief Sustainability Officer at Salva where she leads the regenerative sustainability and resilience strategy for 8 ecotourism resorts across Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this, she served as Vice President of Sustainability for Google Development Ventures, where she led the largest urban regeneration project in the USA by driving platinum leed targets on the residential portfolio and net zero carbon commitments.

Holley spent 12 years in the Middle East where she drove sustainability initiatives and compliance. She led sustainability for the ground up development of a new city that is the first in Saudi Arabia to offer sports and facilities and opportunities for women as well as men.

For nearly two decades, she has been at the forefront of driving innovation concepts into commercially viable services, inspiring new paradigms, and shifting mindsets through public speaking engagements. She has served as Chairwoman, Judge, or Speaker at 50+ conferences and architectural competitions. Her work has garnered numerous accolades including the San Francisco Business Times’ “Most Influential Women,” and the Globe Street Women of Influence Humanitarian Award. However, Holley’s greatest professional passion lies in mentoring project teams at all organizational levels, fostering curiosity, empathy and resilience to prepare them for the long game in ESG as conscious leaders for the future.

Holley holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University and a Master of Arts from Harvard University, with a specialization in ALM, Sustainability and Environmental Management.

Shayne Hastings is the Supercharger Design Lead for the Southeast region at Tesla. Previously, he served as the Design Lead for the Southwest region, where he successfully led a team of Design Managers who surpassed expectations by achieving 132% of their annual expected output. He also improved efficiencies with utilities, A&E vendors, and AHJs, which significantly reduced timelines and costs. In this role, he built and maintained robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. He initially joined Tesla as Design Manager for Charging Infrastructure, where he oversaw all stages of deployment for Supercharger projects. Before Tesla, he worked as a Realtor in the San Francisco Bay Area and a Sustainability Consultant with Alpin Limited in Dubai.

Shayne brings extensive international business experience across the Middle East (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar) and the USA. His core strengths lie in construction management and sustainability, complemented by his expertise in project management, team leadership, and vendor management. Shayne is particularly skilled at building trust and fostering long-term relationships, and his global experience provides him with critical networks and insights, enabling him to navigate diverse markets and manage complex projects.

A Bay Area native, Shayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Studies from Arizona State University.
