Matthew Carli is a seasoned global construction tech executive, known for founding and spearheading innovative initiatives that range from building dedicated innovation teams to crafting comprehensive operational strategies. With a unique blend of experience spanning both startups and corporate environments, Matthew has worked and lived across the globe, leveraging an MBA in international business and a strong foundation in strategy and business development. His holistic, people-centered approach drives the creation and growth of new ventures.
Currently, Matthew serves as Director Business Development 3D Printing, where he is leading efforts to create a fully integrated ecosystem for construction 3D printing, from design to permitting to on-site printing, with the ultimate goal of making construction 3D printing as simple as paper printing. Prior to this, he worked with Putzmeister, where he developed an integrated ecosystem for the Karlos 3D construction printer. At ICON Technology, he led materials strategy playing a key role in fundraising and vertical integration efforts for Lavacrete, their proprietary printable material.

Deeply passionate about driving positive change, Matthew advises emerging ConTech startups and is an active voice in industry discussions through presentations and writing on the challenges facing construction technology. His ability to translate complex technological advancements into scalable, actionable strategies, positions him as a key player in the ongoing transformation of the construction industry.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Honors College at Florida International University and an MBA in International Business from St. John’s University in Rome.
