Holley Chant is a Chief Sustainability Officer at Salva where she leads the regenerative sustainability and resilience strategy for 8 ecotourism resorts across Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this, she served as Vice President of Sustainability for Google Development Ventures, where she led the largest urban regeneration project in the USA by driving platinum leed targets on the residential portfolio and net zero carbon commitments.
Holley spent 12 years in the Middle East where she drove sustainability initiatives and compliance. She led sustainability for the ground up development of a new city that is the first in Saudi Arabia to offer sports and facilities and opportunities for women as well as men.
For nearly two decades, she has been at the forefront of driving innovation concepts into commercially viable services, inspiring new paradigms, and shifting mindsets through public speaking engagements. She has served as Chairwoman, Judge, or Speaker at 50+ conferences and architectural competitions. Her work has garnered numerous accolades including the San Francisco Business Times’ “Most Influential Women,” and the Globe Street Women of Influence Humanitarian Award. However, Holley’s greatest professional passion lies in mentoring project teams at all organizational levels, fostering curiosity, empathy and resilience to prepare them for the long game in ESG as conscious leaders for the future.
Holley holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University and a Master of Arts from Harvard University, with a specialization in ALM, Sustainability and Environmental Management.
